Antonio Napolitano Piano Prize
Since 1840 the Napolitano family has been in the business of manufacturing, selling and leasing pianos. At the age of 15, Antonio Napolitano (1930-1984) followed in his father Alberto’s footsteps by studying the construction techniques of keyboard instruments. Alongside his work, he dedicated himself to the needs of young music students by establishing music schools, offering courses and organising numerous concerts.
Twenty-seven- years after his death, Antonio’s children, who still operate Antonio Napolitano Ltd. with locations in both Salerno and Naples kindly donate a prize to honour their father’s memory.
